In short
- Backgrounds Supply sells digital backgrounds: the full pack, single collections, and credits for AI generation.
- Purchases are one-time payments with lifetime access. There is no subscription.
- You can use the backgrounds in personal and commercial work. You cannot resell or redistribute the files.
- Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record.
- All sales are final and no refunds are given. If something is broken, contact us and we will fix it.
1. Who we are
Backgrounds Supply (“we”, “us”) is a library of digital backgrounds made by Kailash, available at backgrounds.supply and app.backgrounds.supply (the “Service”). These terms are an agreement between you and Backgrounds Supply. By creating an account, buying anything, or downloading any background, you agree to them.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a link sent to your email address (or with Google, where offered). Keep access to that email address secure.
- An account is for one person. Do not share your account or your downloads with others.
- Everything you buy is attached to your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by scraping or bulk-copying the library, sharing access, or reselling files.
3. What we sell
Free account
A free account can browse the library and download a selection of free backgrounds.
The full pack
A one-time purchase that gives lifetime access to every background in every collection, including the animated backgrounds and every collection we add later.
Single collections
A one-time purchase that gives lifetime access to one collection, including backgrounds we add to that collection later. Owning a collection can also unlock its style for AI generation, which is paid for with credits. If you own collections and later buy the full pack, you pay a reduced upgrade price shown before checkout.
Credits
- Credits pay for AI background generation and for saving Instant styles. Each action shows its cost before you confirm it.
- Credits do not expire.
- Credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account, or refunded once bought. See our Refund Policy.
- Credits used on a generation that fails on our side are returned to your balance automatically.
Prices
Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects something you already bought.
4. Payments
Our checkout is provided by Dodo Payments, which acts as the Merchant of Recordfor every purchase. That means Dodo Payments is the seller of record: it processes your payment, charges and remits the applicable taxes, and issues your receipt or invoice. Dodo Payments' own terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment. We never see or store your full card details.
Earlier purchases of the full pack were processed by Lemon Squeezy. Those purchases and their license keys remain valid: you can still activate an older license key with “Enter your license key” in the app.
5. License for the backgrounds
When you download a background you are entitled to (a free background, a background in a collection you own, or any background with the full pack), Backgrounds Supply grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide license to use it. The license is lifetime and covers backgrounds you generate with credits too. It grants usage rights only; ownership of the backgrounds is not transferred.
You may
- Use the backgrounds for personal and commercial purposes.
- Use them in websites, apps and digital products; marketing, ads and social media; presentations, videos and motion graphics; and client, freelance and commissioned work.
- Modify, crop, recolor, animate or combine them with other elements, in any digital or physical medium.
You may not
- Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense or make the backgrounds available as standalone files.
- Include them in another background pack, asset library, template or competing product.
- Offer them for download, free or paid.
- Claim ownership or authorship of them.
- Use them in any unlawful, defamatory or misleading way.
6. AI generation
- You are responsible for the prompts and images you submit. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to use, or anything unlawful, hateful, sexual or that infringes someone else's rights.
- We may refuse or block a generation that breaks these rules. AI providers process your prompt to create the image (see our Privacy Policy).
- AI results can vary and may resemble other images. We do not guarantee that a generated image is unique.
7. Intellectual property
All backgrounds, collections, styles and the Service itself are the intellectual property of Backgrounds Supply. These terms do not give you any ownership rights. All copyrights, trademarks and other rights remain with Backgrounds Supply.
8. Refunds
Because you get immediate access to digital files, all sales are final and no refunds are processed. We still fix anything that is broken. The details are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If you dispute a payment with your bank, access to what that payment bought is paused, and new purchases on the account are paused, until the dispute is resolved. If the dispute is decided in your favour, that access is removed; if it is decided in ours, it is restored. Please contact us first: most problems are quicker to fix by email.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end these terms for an account that breaks them. When they end because of a breach, you must stop using the backgrounds and delete all copies you have.
11. Disclaimers
The backgrounds and the Service are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Backgrounds Supply is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the backgrounds or the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
14. General
These terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Backgrounds Supply about the Service. They are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
